Our faith is facing a crisis, which unfortunately (and unsurprisingly) isn't new. Followers of Jesus, those who seek freedom in His name and community at His table, have always been targeted by those who want to horde power, resources, and access to God. Embracing liberation is dangerous for those who want to maintain rigid hierarchies that keep them on top. Throughout these summer months, we will consider how the theological resources of the New Testament embrace and encourage an antiracist, anti-imperial, and liberative vision of God's Kin(g)dom.
